Established in 1977, Gildersome Spurs JFC has seen many children come and go though the club from our U5s through to our U18s, with many also moving on to the open age team 'Gildersome Old Boys'.
Boys and Girls aged 4 to 18 are welcome to join and It's a way of having fun, keeping healthy, improving their skills and at the same time developing some fundamental social skills along the way.
We are a Voluntary run, Non-Profit making Community Club here to try and provide a safe, fun environment for our children to flourish and maybe become the next Lionel Messi....who knows

Although this places more work upon ourselves, it allows us to show our own capabilities and builds up the confidence of the various professional bodies and Clients in our abilities.

The business was first started in 1935 in Leeds city centre by John Thompson, where my dad started in 1951 from school and bought the business in 1976 when John Thompson retired. In 1990 we moved to are present location in Bramley. I took over the business when my dad retired in 1996.
Most of the gilding products and the way the products are made are still the hand crafted ways from right back to the early years. Over the years we have always strived for quality, service, and use the best products we can.
